FORGING

Strong Bonds

Our past and present communities continue to forge strong bonds and meaningful pursuits to ensure a legacy for the future generations at Tara. There is a strong belief that being involved in the life of the School, through its many community networks and groups, will contribute considerable benefits to students, parents and the School.

COMMUNITY

Tara Hub

Tara Hub serves as the overarching organisation overseeing various parental activities, encompassing three distinct interest groups: Tara Dads Club, Tara Class Parents, and Tara Alumni. It offers numerous opportunities for all Tara parents to actively engage with their daughters' School life. These interest groups play a pivotal role in amplifying parent voices, organising enjoyable events, and fostering connections between parents and their daughters. Every parent is automatically enrolled as a member of the Tara Hub and is encouraged to participate in its diverse range of activities. Proceeds generated from Tara Hub events are allocated to acquiring new equipment and resources for both Junior and Senior School.

2024 Tara Hub Meeting Dates

BEING A PART OF IT

Tara Past Community Stories

Many aspects of the School began with ideas from individuals and groups who wished for Tara and its’ students to be provided with extended opportunities. This input continues today and will into the future.

Once a parent, staff member or council member leaves the School their social history and stories go with them. We wish to change this information loss by collating your stories and anecdotes of your time at Tara. Share your memories with us to create and collate social history for future generations of Tara communities.
