There are many cocurricular and additional opportunity lessons available, offering classes and lessons per semester. These are optional and charged separately. View TEC page for more information.

Other Expenses
There are other expenses for each student. These incidentals may include:
excursions, IGSA sport participation, books, stationery, School planner, locker security, library printing, Tara private buses etc.
Discount on fees for sisters
When a family has two daughters concurrently attending the School, the most senior student is charged full fees, and a 10% discount for the second sister's tuition fees and a 20% discount for the third and subsequent sisters' fees.
Payment Schedule
Tuition and Boarding statements for Years ELC–11 are sent four times a year, except Year 12 where statements are sent three times per year. Payment is in advance and is by direct debit from your bank account, monthly, 10 times a year from February to November. Other incidental expenses are charged each term with a final invoice in December each year.

Scholarships
A select number of scholarships are available each year and they are awarded on the basis of the academic scholarship testing plus a submitted portfolio. Some scholarships also require additional requirements and submissions.
