From the Principal

Throughout this year, I have watched our young women demonstrate remarkable grit and perseverance as they worked tirelessly toward achieving their personal best. As HSC results are released, I am immensely proud, not only of their academic achievements but, more importantly, of the women of character and substance the Class of 2025 have become. It has been a privilege to witness their growth, and I am delighted to celebrate their well-earned successes. Each student has shown unwavering dedication, and their results reflect their commitment and hard work.

Special congratulations to our 'All-Rounders,' who achieved scores of 90 or above in ten or more of the units they studied: Arushi Chauhan, Carol Shi, Selina Shi and Anika Vedi. We are also exceptionally proud of Hannah Roberts and Chelsea Cocks, who earned top placements in the state, including 1st in the State for Hannah for the Hospitality Examination and 8th in the State for Chelsea again for the Hospitality Examination.

Several students received nominations for the prestigious HSC Showcases of SHAPE, ENCORE and OnSTAGE, for their outstanding performances and major works.

A strong number of students in this cohort have secured early entry offers to university. This reflects not only their academic diligence but also the invaluable support of their families and our dedicated staff, as well as their active engagement in Tara's rich cocurricular program.

As these exceptional young women embark on their next journey, we pray they feel confident, equipped, and ready to embrace the challenges and opportunities ahead. May God bless each one as they venture beyond the Tara gates and continue to thrive as women of significance in all that they do.

As a proudly non-selective school, Tara Anglican School for Girls continues to achieve strong HSC outcomes through a culture of high expectations, commitment and care. The 2025 results reflect the sustained effort of our students, supported by dedicated teachers and a learning environment that encourages girls to aim high.
