Billing and Accounts Manager | 12 month fixed term (maternity leave cover)

Tara is currently recruiting for the role of Billing & Accounts Manager. 

The main purpose of this role is to support the efficient and effective coordination of the billing and account collection functions of the School. The Billing & Accounts Manager will be responsible for the processing of transactions in the School’s finance system (TASS), oversight of fee debtors and ensuring the accuracy of the general ledger for areas of responsibility.

This is a 12 month fixed term full-time opportunity (maternity leave cover).

This role commences Monday, 17 March 2025 (or earlier if available) and expected to be performed on a temporary full time basis with usual hours being carried out between 8am and 4pm Monday to Friday.

English Teacher

Tara is seeking an energetic, passionate, and innovative English Teacher to join our Senior School team. This role involves teaching Stages 4, 5, and 6, with the potential to make a significant impact on our students' academic journeys. Experience with the International Baccalaureate is highly regarded, though not essential. New Graduates are encouraged to apply.

Head of Strings

Tara is seeking an accomplished string musician to conduct its Years 7 – 12 String Orchestra and String Quartets. 

These programs are undertaken as part of the School’s energetic and extensive Performing Arts Cocurricular Program. Tara girls are renowned for their Performing Arts abilities. Every year our School calendar includes a variety of performance events that are exceptional in their quality. Tara students embrace the numerous opportunities presented to them whether it’s in the classroom, in the theatre, the stage or on set. 

This role is available for an immediate start and expected to be performed on a permanent part time basis with usual hours being carried out term time only, each Monday afternoon, 4:30pm – 7:30pm. 

The nature of role anticipates the need for flexibility with respect to usual hours worked, particularly (without limitation) in support of the School performance events. Should flexibility and/or additional hours be required, such hours will be paid by casual timesheet.
