Requirements for Working at Tara

Teacher Registration and Accreditation
All teaching staff are required to be registered with the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) and be accredited. For more information, please visit NESA.

Working with Children Check
Tara staff must maintain NSW Working with Children Clearance. For more information, please visit the Office of the Children’s Guardian.

Child Safety
Staff are required to maintain a child safe culture in accordance with the School’s policies and procedures in support of the School Council’s commitment to embedding child safety. For further information, please visit the Office of the Children’s Guardian Child safe Standards.

In applying for roles at Tara you will be required to provide personal, including sensitive, information.   • Completed Application Form - click here
  • Cover letter (no more than 2 pages) detailing your interest and how your skills, experience and personal attributes suit the role
  • Current Resume/CV including 2 (minimum) professional referees who may be contacted
  • Copies of qualifications relevant to the role. Please note, if not available at the time of application, copies must be provided prior to commencement, if requested.

To ensure that your application is considered please ensure that the above inclusions are submitted at the time of application. Submission of incomplete applications may be considered not suitable. The School does not retain applications from individuals not offered employment, unless requested.
